What's the Affinity Judgement? (In English)

Japanese version of this page

Internet affinity judgement

is a kind of fortune telling which judges affinity between you and your partner using the email addresses/URLs.

Although the fortune uses only email addresses/URLs now, the following specs may be available in future;

Method

This affinity judgement method is similar to the one that many Japanese elementary school girl do. See the figure below. A girl writes down her name and her favorite boy's name in ASCII code (ASCII code is a number which expresses a character in computer sysytems --- yes, of course, we learn ASCII code in Japanese elementary school!). The neighbor two numbers are added (in the original, only the lowest 1 digit is survibe), until two numbers are remained.

In this fortune, all the neighbor two numbers are repeatedly added until one number is remained, and the lowest 2 digit is used as the ``affinitieness'' percentile (00% minimum -- 99% maximum). In addition to this, this method uses ``+'' symbol for concatinator between two names, and the names are the email addresses/URLs of your and your partner.

Figure: to calculate affinitieness between ``taroh'' and ``hoge'':

(in original method)
 t   a   r   o   h   h   o   g   e
116  97 114 111 104 104 111 103 101
(6) (7) (4) (1) (4) (4) (1) (3) (1)

   3   1   5   5   8   5   4   4

              | / | /
               8   9  =>  89[%]

(in this fortune)
