This department store sells igs (beside the bookstore!)
as they're some kind of accessary! Wrong and brief
instruction on the cage says ``igs eat only vegitables''
(no, they want insects and mouse), ``the size of adult is
50cm'' (no, igs in good environment reaches over 1m),
and the purple light (sold with the cage) is for fish
which does not include UV.最近ペットショップ以外の雑貨屋などでイグアナなどが売られている のを目にしますが、間違った方法で売られているところから買ってくると すぐに死んでしまうことがあるので止めましょう。 このデパートで売られていたイグアナは(隣は本屋)一種の置き物 扱いでした。上に書いてあった『飼い方』にいわく、 「餌は野菜で十分です」(虫やマウスも欲しいんだよっ!)、 「大きくなると50cm位になります」(良好な環境で育てられれば 1m超えるんだよっ!)、そして一緒に飼育セットとして売られていた 紫色の光線を出すライトは、熱帯魚観賞用(紫外線は 出さない)でした。
